Ciera Chancellor is a dedicated professional with a wealth of experience in Leadership (and is a certified trainer and coach), and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), particularly in building Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) from the ground up and revitalizing struggling ones. Her expertise extends to strategic partnerships, awareness campaigns, and a focus on showcasing the competitive advantage that veterans bring to organizations.

With 15 years of military service transitioning from a medical field enlisted role to military intelligence as an officer, Ciera brings a unique blend of leadership and adaptability. Currently residing in the vibrant city of Chicago, Ciera is a proud mother of four daughters and a devoted spouse.

In the realm of DEI, Ciera has left an indelible mark, steering the Abbott Veterans Network as Global Chair. In just 12 months, she expanded the team, increased engagement by 34%, and orchestrated a 5-year strategy to elevate the Employee Network into a potent business resource, showcasing her ability to strategize and grow ERGs.

Notably, Ciera led the Abbott Flex Network (ERG) for over three years, spearheading strategic change initiatives to cultivate a culture shift around flexible work. Through innovative programs, she tripled network membership, expanded global presence, and personally engaged 120 individuals one on one in over 40 countries in a groundbreaking Talent Development program.

Ciera's specialties also include fostering strategic partnerships, leading awareness campaigns, and transforming Allies to Advocates. She excels in helping companies understand the competitive advantage veterans bring, as seen in her transformative role as the Global Chair of the Abbott Veterans Network.
